We arrange a meeting for the women. We had meeting with self help groups. The theme was self Development. We explain the group about development of self implies seven different things in reality these different meanings can overlap, but it is useful to understand them distinctively. In this section, some of the main meanings of self development are elaborated. The most important meaning of self development is to develop a realistic self concept. This implies developing a positive and healthy appreciation of me, my capabilities and my limitation. It implies overcoming my negative self concept in some cases, and excessively unrealistic self concept in others. This is necessary so that each person can begin to deal with the world on the basis of her strengths.
We gave them class about process in the context of animation. The animation processes without a clear vision lacks dynamism and may eventually die out. Animation with a clear vision is a process which is sustained by once commitment to the vision of social transformation. In this context, it is process of giving life to the poor and the marginalized by introducing first in a person, and gradually in to the widen community, the need of straggle and work together for a change among themselves in the animation process there are several social actions the animator, the individual and the community at large. We need to examine how each of these social actions over through different stages of change in their vision in their values and in way they perceive there situation.
We had animation programmes. Theme was empowerment of women, girl’s unequal control of resources in society, role of animation.
We conduct celebrate International women’s day with full enthusiasm and meaning.
